MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- A man was arrested and charged in connection to a robbery and shooting at a hotel in Oxford, Mississippi on Sunday. The Oxford Police Department responded to a hotel, which was not named in a report, after a call regarding gunshots in one of the rooms. When they arrived, police say they found no one inside. Reports say an investigation into the incident revealed that multiple people were inside the hotel room when a man pulled out a gun and demanded money from someone in the room. The suspect and victim then struggled with each other leading to gunshots being fired.
