LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW)- The mother of Kentucky football coaches Mark and Mike Stoops has passed away, the UK Athletics department announced on Wednesday. Evelyn “Dee” Stoops was 88 years old and died on Tuesday night. “She was the heart of our family and a constant inspiration to all of us,” wrote Mike Stoops on X. “We love you always mom.” This is a breaking news story and will be updated.
