FRANKLIN, Ind. -- A manufacturing facility in Franklin is closing and is expected to impact the jobs of up to 125 workers. According to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification, or WARN notice, filed with the Indiana Department of Workforce on Monday, Pridgeon & Clay's manufacturing facility in Franklin will be closing. In a WARN notice first posted on June 17, the company said that six workers were expected to be laid off. In a second notice, posted on Sept. 16, the company said that 66 workers were expected to be laid off. 75 people to be laid off from job in Greenfield Ultimately, the company said in the notice that 125 workers will be impacted by this permanent closure. According to Pridgeon & Clay's website, the Franklin manufacturing facility, located at 150 Arvin Rd., was 76,000 square feet and specialized in lighter gauge stamping. FOX59/CBS4 has reached out to the Indiana Department of Workforce Development, as well as Pridgeon & Clay, regarding clarification on the number of workers impacted by the closure.
