(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Horror lovers may have to wait a few months for the scare of a lifetime as the world of Insidious will be making a pit stop at Pikes Peak Center in Colorado Springs in May. Spooky lovers will have the opportunity to feel the spirit of Halloween earlier next year with 'Insidious: The Further You Fear.' The live horror experience is based on the film franchise and guarantees to bring your darkest fears to life. 'Insidious: The Further You Fear' brings the "real" Specs and Tucker to life and when a paranormal demonstration goes wrong, dark forces are unleashed. Audiences will be trapped in a haunted theater and under attack by characters such as the Bride in Black, the Wheezing Man, and the Lipstick-Faced Demon. But what's real? What isn't? And who are you truly sitting next to? “Bringing audiences deeper into The Further with this live experience has been an exciting challenge, and I’m really looking forward to seeing how they respond,” said Jason Blum, Founder/CEO of Blumhouse. “Insidious is one of our most popular franchises, with a sixth installment premiering next year, and this is a fresh and frightening new way for fans to experience it.” The line between reality and fiction will blur on Thursday, May 22 at Pikes Peak Center. with no fourth wall to separate or protect, each attendee can expect to meet the protagonists face-to-face and become integral characters in the story as it unravels.
