If you can't afford to purchase and install a smoke alarm, they will do it for you for free. It's part of the Minnesota-Dakotas Home Fire Campaign. Volunteers install free smoke alarms, create escape plans and share fire safety information as part of nationwide "Sound the Alarm" events to help save lives.
