Layoffs will begin in December and continue through April, the notice said. The weekend shift will be the first to end on Dec. 15, resulting in the termination of 32 workers. The second shift will close on Feb. 15 and result in 62 workers being let go. The remaining workers on the first shift will be dismissed on April 28.
Among the workers affected are inventory and operations clerks, forklift operators, managers, a mechanic, and a human resources representative.
Last October, DHL Supply Chain closed a Groveport warehouse and laid off 264 employees. The shipping carrier stated the closure was due to one of its customers discontinuing service with the company.
