WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — A man accused of driving under the influence is expected to appear in court today. 32-year-old John Carvalho of West Warwick was arrested earlier this month after Coventry police responded to a call that a car was on its side. Police discovered Carvalho had driven off the roadway and struck two other parked vehicles. Carvalho and the other occupant of the car were transported to the hospital for serious injuries. He’s expected to appear in Kent County Superior Court for his arraignment this morning at 9 a.m. Categories: News
