PIEDMONT TRIAD, N.C. (WGHP) — Sunny conditions stay put for the rest of the work week, despite a cold front that will sweep across the Piedmont tonight.  It's going to be a great day to be outdoors, whether you are doing a little yard work or enjoying a round of golf. Temperatures will climb to the upper-70s this afternoon, then slide into the mid-50s overnight.   By daybreak tomorrow, the cold front will be along the North Carolina coastline, and temperatures are going to cool down modestly. While temperatures will be lower, with highs in the mid-70s, that is still four degrees above normal.   Sunshine stays put Friday and Saturday, and highs will rebound to the mid-to upper-70s. A more powerful cold front is forecast to cross the state on Saturday, so get ready for bigger swings in temperature as the new week begins.  Sunday is going to be partly cloudy with highs in the lower-60s.  Sunny skies return Monday with highs in the mid-60's. The topsy-turvy weather continues through the middle of next week!  Tuesday and Wednesday, temperatures are going to warm back up to the lower-to-mid-70s under mostly sunny skies.
