A teenage boy was shot and killed Tuesday night in a Woodlawn neighborhood alley.The 15-year-old was standing in an alley just before 8:30 p.m. in the 6600 block of South Champlain Avenue when someone opened fire, striking the boy in the abdomen and left leg, Chicago police said.Officers responded to a call of shots fired and an anonymous 911 caller who said they saw two males running north and heard a someone scream: 'My son got shot!" according to a police report.The boy, of the city's Auburn Gresham neighborhood, was found lying on the ground, next to a red book bag and a damaged black phone. He suffered more than a dozen gunshot wounds and was taken to Comer Children’s Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 8:51 p.m., police said.Area 1 detectives are investigating but no one was arrested.
