ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) –Supporting programs for youth development is the mission behind a donation by IGT to Mission Fulfilled 2030. IGT is a global leader in the lottery and gaming industry. The donation included new technology equipment including Lenovo gaming desktops, chromebooks, and smart tv's. The hope is this will expand Mission Fulfilled's STEM education programs which helps Rochester's BIPOC youth with resources to pursue careers in the field. "Trying to give kids an opportunity to be successful in life not just now but he's giving them the tool to be marketable to have a skill and these young men are very articulate. It was great to see what they had to say and to see what Gerald is doing makes me proud of Gerald and the kids and what they are here for," Jeffrey Hecht with IGT said. Mission Fulfilled 2030 aims to empower 100,000 young Black males in STEM by 2030.
