(KRON) – The sole Michelin-star restaurant in San Jose is reopening, the eatery announced on Instagram. Portuguese cuisine, Adega, will be returning on Nov. 15 at its original location.  The fine-dining restaurant opened in 2015 and received a Michelin star the following year. After eight years of operation, Adega closed in December of 2023.  The Michelin-star eatery thanked the city of San Jose, “Your support of our restaurant these past nine years has inspired us to grow and evolve,” the restaurant continued. “During the past months, we have had several requests from guests to bring back Adega. We quickly realized how much our community wanted Adega back as a fine dining restaurant in our city.” P.F. Chang’s to open its only location in the North Bay The restaurant is known for its tasting menu filled with Portuguese delicacies. According to Adega’s website, they offer more than 500 wines exclusively from Portugal.  The Portuguese restaurant's address is 1614 Alum Rock Ave.  This eatery also has Petiscos, which is a bakery extension of the restaurant. In the Instagram post, Adega announced it will be opening another Petiscos location in Gliroy in 2025.
