SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) - Savannah rapper Tyquian Bowman, known by the stage name Quando Rondo, released a 'Letter to Savannah' on Tuesday ahead of a court meeting. In the letter, shared on Instagram, Bowman acknowledges his home and community and claims that he wants "to be a positive role model for the young people growing up in this city." In September, Bowman entered a plea of not guilty in Chatham County State Court on charges of driving under the influence and reckless driving. Bowman is set to attend court on Wednesday for a pre-trial meeting ahead of a December 12 sentencing on charges from an incident that occurred on July 19, 2023. Bowman was charged with reckless driving and driving under the influence of drugs. The rapper is also facing federal charges of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute and distribution of controlled substances. He has entered a plea of guilty in that case.
