ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The college basketball season is right around the corner and the men's and women's Lobo basketball teams are already on the floor for preseason work. Both teams have already faced an opponent in some capacity. The overall sense from both sides is that exhibition games are a positive and more could be coming in future years. "As a coach it's hard to see everything," said Richard Pitino. "So it's so much easier to teach when you see this is what this team did and this is how we're going to respond to it." "The good news is that [we] better than I thought it [we'd] be, so that was good," Mike Bradbury said. "Offensively we were, I don't want to say we were good, but we weren't bad offensively. Defensively we got a lot of work to do. The good news with that is a lot of it is correctable." The men's team has an exhibition game scheduled for Monday night against UTEP in the Pit while the women play an exhibition against Western Colorado on Saturday.
