Partnering with a non-profit dedicated to investigating the phenomenon. Rio Rancho Schools will now store tens of thousands of documents and files from a national archive.  "We were looking to have larger facilities because we simply couldn't accommodate the material that was coming in. In partnership with the Rio Rancho Public Schools system, we now have that space," said David Marler, Executive Director for the National UFO Historical Records Center.      The National UFO Historical Records Center is a New Mexico-based organization, led by researchers and archivists with a goal of educating the public on the history of UFOs. For years the files were stored at David Marler's home. Now, the vast collection is in two portable classrooms at Martin Luther King JR. Elementary.  "It's gratifying to be able to display these things properly where people can truly appreciate the beauty with the artwork but also the scientific curiosity that I think it instills in us," said Marler.        The Center houses magazines, periodicals, case files, and even military memorabilia, some dating back to the 1920's. The Center's library houses more than 2,000 books from around the world, all dedicated to the UFO subject. The space will serve as a research center, available to the public by appointment.  “We want to be a center of learning where people can come in with various perspectives or viewpoints with regard to the UFO subject but specifically people who have questions," said Marler.        Rio Rancho Schools will help cut the ribbon on the new facility Tuesday evening.
