TAOS, N.M. (KRQE) – A northern New Mexico photographer has captured another stunning sight. Timelapse video shared to KRQE News 13 by Jay Shaffer shows the Tschuchinshan Atlas comet as it moves across the night sky over Taos. Photographer captures northern lights in New Mexico Shaffer sent KRQE News 13 an incredible video last month showing the northern lights as they illuminated the sky with different shades of red. for days now, stargazers have kept a close eye on the comet. The comet may be visible into early November but a telescope may be needed to see it.
