NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — An 11-year-old from St. Bernard Parish just might be one of the luckiest Taylor Swift fans. The superstar personally gave this "Swiftie" one of her hats! From head to toe, little Emma Jo Tassin is a "Swiftie." "I love her songs and I love how confident she is in her music," Tassin said. ‘Swift Selfie Studio’ at Fringe + Co. in New Orleans for Eras Tour This 11-year old super fan got quite the surprise for her head when she went to see Swift in concert for her "Eras" tour last year in Denver, Colorado. She said she was surprised when a stage crew member brought her to the stage. "After that I got on stage, and I was sitting on the stage, and then here comes Taylor with her red outfit and her '22' hat. She walks over to me and she thanks me for coming to her concert, and I say I love you and I was just speechless. I didn't really say anything, but I blew her a kiss," Tassin said. She went on to say, "She autographed it and I didn't realize it until after and then I saw a heart on the hat too." (WGNO/Kenny Lopez) It is a known fact amongst "Swifties" that when Taylor performs her hit song, "22," she'll give a fan her hat. Scary Swift! Emma Jo's got some advice for her fellow "Swifties" attending the shows in New Orleans this weekend if they'd like to try and get Taylor's hat like she did. "Some advice is just be yourself and don't focus on getting the hat, focus on singing the songs and living in the moment," Tassin said.
