NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — On Oct. 13, 2022, the body of John Garrett was found in a field in the 5800 block of Plaza Drive. He'd been shot to death. More than two years after the murder, the case remains unsolved. Garrett reportedly failed to show up for work at the Monteleone Hotel the day before.
