NORTH DAKOTA (KXNET) — Two men have been injured, and one may soon be facing charges after a collision between a van and a utility task vehicle (UTV) on the afternoon of Tuesday, October 22. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, at approximately 2:40 p.m., a Ford Transit was traveling westbound on Highway 200 when a second vehicle (a John Deere UTV) pulled onto the highway from a north approach in front. The driver of the Ford applied its brakes, but struck the UTV on the driver's side. One dead in Bismarck overnight motorcycle crash The driver of the UTV — A 70-year-old man from Hazen — was not wearing a seatbelt and promptly ejected from the vehicle. He sustained serious injuries as a result of the crash, and was transported to Sakakawea Medical Center in Hazen before being life-flighted to Sanford in Bismarck. The driver of the Ford, a 25-year-old man from Dickinson, also sustained minor injuries, and was transported to Sakakawea Medical Center for treatment.
