Denver police are searching for suspects after a 17-year-old boy was shot and killed Sunday in Lisbon Park. Around 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Edwin Sanchez and a friend were hanging out at the park in Denver’s Green Valley Ranch neighborhood when an unknown person approached and shot the teenager, according to the Denver Police Department. Sanchez later died from his injuries, and no suspects have been identified. The other teenager was not injured, police said. Lisbon Park, at 4000 Kirk Street, is near the Denver-Aurora boundary, a softball field, tennis courts and Green Valley Elementary School.
