(KRON) – The Santa Clara Police Department said they found a firearm, drugs and ammunition in two search warrants. On Monday, Santa Clara police officers pulled over a vehicle with illegally tinted windows. An open container of alcohol and marijuana was in “plain view” of the officers, police said.  $17K, narcotics for sale found in San Jose encampment: police The officers then conducted a search that yielded a loaded handgun, extended magazine, narcotics and cash.  Police obtained a warrant for the suspect’s residence and located more drugs and ammunition.  The suspect was a convicted felon who was arrested and booked into county jail.
