WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Wichita Public Schools is hosting a workshop for high school student-athletes and their parents to inform them about playing at the college level. The event will be held Wednesday, Oct. 23, at 7 p.m. in the Alvin Morris Administrative Center auditorium, 903 S. Edgemoor. Evergy to build 2 natural gas plants in Kansas USD 259 said students and parents will learn about the college eligibility process and what they need to know to play in college. The workshop is targeted at high school and eighth grade students who are planning to participate in college athletics. It will provide information for families to navigate the process.
