Interstate 81 north in Syracuse to be reduced to one lane for 8 days: Expect long delays

Syracuse, N.Y. — Interstate 81 north in Syracuse will be reduced to one lane starting Wednesday and running through next Thursday.The highway from Exit 18 (Adams Street / Harrison Street) to the off-ramp to Interstate 690 west will be one lane from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day, according to a news release from the state Department of Transportation.
