SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) - The Campaign to help raise awareness about breast cancer this October rolls on.   One way we're bringing attention to the disease is the pink Jeep that you see around town with our Buddy Check 3 logos and St. Joseph's/Candler's QR code. When you click the code, you may donate to the mammography fund.   In doing so, you're helping women without insurance pay for their mammograms and we thank you. Thanks to our community partners as well, including Southern Motors for providing the jeep and helping save lives. "I'm so excited that we were able to be a big part of this,” said Grant Deloach of Southern Motors of Savannah. “I have a story as well.  My grandmother passed away of breast cancer.  Probably my first love, my dad's mother Valma Griffin. So, when it comes to October, it's a very special month for me and my family and our dealership." "Bunny approached me about the wrap,” said Rebecca Seymour of SA Recycling. “I have family members who have been in such situations. Breast Cancer and being informed is very important to me.  It has hit home to me before, and we want to be a strong supporter to help others for early detection." "My grandmother is a breast cancer survivor,” said Miquan Green, owner of MGreen Productions. “She has that story, and I know that it has impacted so many people.  And being able to witness the story of my grandmother certainly plays an inspiration in how we support Buddy Check 3."  You can also support this cause by buying tickets now for the Oct. 26 Healing Heroes Fashion Show at wsav.com/healingheroes.
