OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - The OK Humane Society is highlighting this week's adorable friendly pets ready for adoption! If you are interested in adding a friendly face to your home OK Humane Society has a host of furry friends looking to become the next addition that will bring you a smile to remember! Meet General Grevous: General Grevous, Image courtesy OK Humane General Grevous is 5 months old and 26 pounds. He is such a good boy who just wants cuddles and love. He absolutely loves his food and often shows he is ready to eat by going to his kennel. His treat-motivation makes him very trainable. He does great with kids and other people. Housetraining is still a process but if you're on top of a schedule he has no problems, but like any puppy he will go inside when he can't hold it any longer. He is still working on his crate training and building a positive association with his safe space. Grevous actually does great in the bathtub and will let you bathe him. Meet Nyon: Nyon, Image courtesy OK Humane Say hello to Nyon, the most snuggly puppy of his litter! This 6-month-old boy weighs 22 pounds. He may be short in stature, but he's bursting with love and affection. Nyon is a true cuddle bug who loves nothing more than snuggling up in your lap or curling up by your side. His sweet, affectionate nature makes him the perfect companion for anyone looking for a loving and loyal friend. With his high energy and playful spirit, Nyon is ready to join a family that will match his enthusiasm and shower him with the attention he adores. If you're looking for a snuggly, playful puppy to brighten your days, Nyon would be a great fit! Check out all available pets and how you can adopt them at okhumane.org! MEET BEATROUS: Beatrous, Image courtesy OK Humane OK Humane received seven homeless dogs displaced by Hurricane Francine. The ASPCA transported these dogs to Oklahoma as part of the disaster relief support for animals impacted by the storm and subsequent flooding. All pets were in a shelter and unowned before the storm hit. Beatrous is one of the seven dogs now available for adoption at the Oklahoma Humane Society. This sweet 7-month-old girl weighs 26 pounds. She has a friendly, outgoing nature that instantly wins over everyone she meets. While we don't yet know how Beatrous would do around other dogs, cats, or children, her warm and gentle demeanor suggests she could thrive in a home with proper, gradual introductions to new friends. Beatrous is full of puppy energy, loving to explore her surroundings and engage in fun activities. She's curious, playful, and always ready for an adventure! With a bit of guidance and training, she's sure to grow into a wonderful companion who can adapt well to any loving environment. MEET KALI: Kali, Image courtesy OK Humane Kali is 7 years old and 85 pounds. She is a well-mannered sweetheart. She knows “sit”, does great meeting new people, is house trained, and does well free roaming. Kali has done well with other dogs but slow introductions are necessary. She gets excited when going somewhere or being put on a leash for a walk. She is a big teddy bear who enjoys quality time with her people. She can be clumsy and may do best in a home without young children or small pets because of the way she likes to play. Kali is best described as a very laid back “house hippo”.
