VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) -- A woman is in critical condition after an interstate crash, according to Virginia State Police. The crash happened just after 1:30 p.m., at the on ramp from London Bridge to 264 West. State police said the elderly woman was outside of her disabled vehicle when she was hit by a Chevy Silverado attempting to merge onto the interstate. She was rushed to Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital to be treated for her injuries. We are working to gather more information about this crash and to get an update on the woman's condition. Troopers are still investigating the crash.
