The incident, reported at around 12:30 p.m. at the Skate Park on Taft Avenue, involved several juveniles. Authorities say a 16-year-old boy displayed what appeared to be a handgun, prompting the group to run to the 1000 block of North Lark Street. After a foot pursuit, officers apprehended the boy, arresting him for disorderly conduct, resisting an officer, and seven counts of recklessly endangering safety.
