ORANGEBURG, S.C. (WOLO)– Firefighters with the ODPS Fire Department, along with firefighters from the Cordova Fire Department worked together to control a Tuesday fire, said officials.
Firefighters arrived to a fire on Menefee Court to find a single-wide mobile home with smoke coming from the eaves.
No one was home at the time of the fire.
The source of the fire was identified as a vent fan in the bathroom, said the Orangeburg Department of Public Safety.
Officials said thanks to the quick actions of neighbors who reported the smoke, the fire was contained to just one room, preventing further damage to the home.
