BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- Over 220 athletes are set to compete at Bakersfield College Rodeo team's 2nd annual NIRA Collegiate Rodeo the first weekend in November. Last year's rodeo was so successful, that the Rodeo Team was asked to make this year a two-day event, according to Julie Beechinor with the B.C. Rodeo Team. Teams from Cal Poly, Fresno State, Feather River College, University of Nevada Las Vegas, and more will call the Kern County Fairgrounds home Nov. 9 and 10. Joe Peters will be performing on the first night of the rodeo. The concert is included with admission. Catch a performance from Michael Peters & The Monsters under the Grandstands.
