ATCEMS: Vehicle hits 'several' pedestrians, food truck in southeast Austin

AUSTIN (KXAN) -- A vehicle crashed with "several" pedestrians and then a food truck in southeast Austin on Tuesday afternoon, Austin-Travis County EMS said on social media.
ATCEMS medics said at least four people were involved.
Shortly after 5:30 p.m., the agency responded to 2538 Elmont Drive for the crash. The Austin Fire Department said it responded to a fire at the food truck, which was reportedly out shortly before 6 p.m., according to AFD.

Drivers should avoid the area, as well as seek alternate routes due to "heavy traffic delays," AFD said.
