BERNALILLO COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) – The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide that occurred Tuesday morning. Deputies responded to a call at approximately 3:45 a.m. regarding an intruder at a home in the vicinity of Lost Horizon Drive NW. City councilors, residents call out Albuquerque police shooting of man in handcuffs The homeowner reported shooting the intruder, who was then found critically injured. The individual was taken to UNMH, where they were later pronounced dead. Deputies are continuing to investigate.
