SC Voters Break Record On First Day Of Early Voting

COLUMBIA, SC – Early voting for the November 5th election is underway in South Carolina. A record number of people cast ballots on the first day of the state’s early voting period.
The South Carolina Election Commission says approximately 125,900 people voted on Monday. That topped the previous one-day record of 70,100 ballots cast on the first day of early voting for the 2022 General Election.
Registered voters in South Carolina can cast their ballots early through November 2, 2024. Locations are open from 8:30am until 6pm each day except for Sunday, October 27, 2024.
