DUBLIN, Ohio (WCMH) -- The owner of a Japanese-style karaoke bar in Cincinnati is expanding with a central Ohio cocktail bar home to a 1960s golf club aesthetic. Sand Valley Cocktail Club will open inside Dublin's Bridge Park at 6770 Riverside Drive, across from North Market, in early 2025. The 2,200-square-foot club is set to offer indoor and outdoor experiences with patio seating facing the Scioto River and will be operated by Gorilla Cinema Presents, the owner of Cincinnati bar Tokyo Kitty. Guests will feel like they've entered a "vibrant mid-century 1960s golf cub" with getaway-inspired decor. Sand Valley's menu will include craft cocktails and small bites, like an Ube Grasshopper cocktail and a Caviar Service. "Trevino and the Gorilla Cinema team have a proven track record of creating world-class F&B atmospheres, said Zach Graham, senior vice president of commercial real estate for Crawford Hoying, the developer of Bridge Park. "Sand Valley Cocktail Club will be a tremendous addition to our community." The brand also operates Cincinnati's Lonely Pine Steakhouse, a restaurant inspired by roadside stops along Route 66, and The Overlook Lodge, an acres ski bar inspired by "The Shining."
