WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- Detectives in D.C. are working to learn what led to a shooting that left a 21-year-old man dead on Monday afternoon. According to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD), on Oct. 21 just after 12:30 p.m., officers were called to the 2700 block of Bruce Place Southeast for a shooting. Upon arrival, they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. He died at the scene. Virginia State Police troopers rescue woman trapped in car submerged in retention pond in Fairfax County As the investigation continued, police identified the victim as 21-year-old Malkijah Clark, of Southeast.  MPD urges anyone with information about the shooting to call 202-727-9099 or text the department's tip line at 50411. Tips can remain anonymous. Police said they are offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information that leads to an arrest and conviction.
