ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – The Gregory E. Polisseni Living Hope Treatment Center is now providing 24/7 service for those seeking substance use recovery care. Through support, resources, and programs, the center aids in the start to the path of recovery. Director of Detoxification at the Living Hope Treatment Center Jason Teller said that addiction is an all-day everyday illness, not just 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Teller said he hopes that having more hours available will help any barriers that may come up for people who want to start detox. “What we are really trying to do is make it as easy as possible for someone when they are ready to be able to come in,” Teller said. The center serves anyone over the age of 16, which Teller said is uncommon to provide aid to both teens and adults together in western New York. “The real impact that it has is giving people the opportunity to get the help that they need in the most intense crisis stage of their recovery,” Teller said. “I think the most important thing really is that people know there is help out there and we are one place that you can get that help.
