Daniel Santiago, 45, faces felony charges related to the assault and pursuit, Lt. Kevin Reilly with the El Cajon Police Department said in a news release. The incident started around 12:29 p.m. in the 400 block of Emerald Avenue, according to authorities. Police received reports of a man threatening community members, who were on their way to work when the suspect pulled up next to them in a truck. While the suspect did initially stop his truck, he continued to lead officers on a pursuit through San Diego and onto the Coronado Bridge. After about 10 minutes of negotiation, the suspect surrendered.
