Man gets 50 years for Pueblo crash that left three dead

(PUEBLO, Colo.) — A 33-year-old man has been sentenced to more than 50 years in jail after he pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide.
On Aug. 26, 2023, Kohen Garrett Kyle was driving a 2015 BMW 550 at speeds over 100 mph when his car crossed the center line and crashed into a 2017 Honda CRV head-on.
The impact caused the BMW to roll and killed the passengers inside the CRV who were later identified as 48-year-old Jesus Guerrero-Lopez, 56-year-old Marie Quintana, and her 12-year-old grandson.
Suspect arrested in Pueblo West crash that killed three
The Pueblo County Sheriff's Office (PCSO) said the 12-year-old was thrown from his family's car and all passengers were pronounced dead at the scene.
Kyle pled guilty to three counts of vehicular homicide and on Monday, Oct. 21, he was sentenced to 54 years at the Colorado Department of Corrections.
