It’s located near the Grosvenor-Strathmore Metro Station in Bethesda. The development features 220 apartments, open greenspace and designated areas for dance and musical performances.
The owner of a dance studio that just opened in the square said it’s encouraging to see a major investment made in the area.
“I’m actually really looking forward to the other buildings and really this entire square here becoming alive with people and the arts,” Alex Nowakowski, owner of CityDance, said. “I hope actually our footprint can even expand here.”
This marks Metro’s fourth transit-oriented development this year.
