PETERSBURG, Va. (WRIC) -- A woman has been arrested and charged by the Petersburg Bureau of Police in connection to a stabbing that took place Sunday night. According to the bureau, on Sunday, Oct. 20, at around 7:45 p.m., police responded to a local hospital for the report of a person who had been stabbed. Once officers made contact with the victim, it was determined they had a stab wound that was non-life threatening -- they were also found to have liquid thrown in their face and eyes during the incident. Police said the suspect -- who has been identified as Quanzunae Price -- was taken into custody without incident in the 3100 block of Pinetree Drive. Price has been charged with domestic assault, assault with a caustic substance and was served with an Emergency Protective Order (EPO), according to the bureau. "Price was held at Riverside Regional Jail with no bond," a release posted to social media reads.
