What a Monday it was! Providence-T.F. Green tied a 104-year old high temperature record with 81°. The warm and sunny weather continues Tuesday and Wednesday with  temperatures in the low-to-mid 70s, as a more southerly wind component builds in. On Thursday, an almost entirely dry cold front passes through the Northeast and will bring about the first of two big temperature drops this week. Highs on Thursday, Friday and Saturday will be in the 60s. Then another front comes through on Saturday and drops us down to the 50s for Sunday and Monday. This will also signal the return of nighttime temperatures in the 30s. But long term projections have us warming back up next week as we head towards Halloween. Oh, yeah… the mostly sunny weather will continue as well, with just a few more clouds on Thursday and Saturday as those fronts come through. Rain chances are low. This will exacerbate our abnormally dry conditions  in New England, and many spots may settle into a low-level drought through the first week of November. It will at least make for easier raking of leaves! Categories: News, Weather Forecast
