The NFL officially took notice of the fantastic season the Minnesota Vikings are putting together and realized they need to be in more primetime slots. So, they have officially flexed the November 3rd game against the Colts originally scheduled for a noon CT kickoff to Sunday Night Football at 7:15 CT on NBC. I imagine after seeing how exciting the Lions vs. Vikings game was last night, they looked at the first weekend of November and saw SNF was originally slated for the Eagles vs. Jaguars game and knew something had to change. This will now mean the Vikings have back-to-back primetime games with the Thursday Night Football matchup against the Rams coming the week before the newly slotted SNF game. The Vikings are now currently tied atop the NFC North at 5-1 with the Lions. The Colts sit in second in the AFC South at 4-3.
