DEL CITY, Okla. (KFOR) — It was a wild start to the week for Del City Police after a car crashed into a parked car in a neighborhood Monday morning. Police said there are now as many as seven teenagers on the run. Around 5:30 a.m., Del City Police got a call about a crash on SE 16th Street and Mansfield Avenue. OSBI: One arrested in connection to homicide in Grove Officers said a white car driving fast hit a parked car and flipped upside down. The owner of the parked car was staying at an Airbnb when the crash happened. "I gotta figure out what I'm gonna do for a ride now I guess...but it'll all work out," said Adam Kendrick, whose car was hit. Kendrick just got back from helping Hurricane Milton victims. "When hurricanes come, they tend to knock trees over on the power line, and we cut it off for the electricians so they can restrain the lines and get everybody's power back on," said Kendrick. A witness on body camera footage from police can be heard saying that he saw about seven people run away from the scene. Police identify victim in fatal convenience store stabbing Officers confirmed the people were teenagers and the car was stolen from Warr Acres. Shortly after learning the teens ran away, officers flew a drone to try and find them. While police didn't have any luck finding suspects Monday morning, they do have some information. "We're trying to follow up on that to determine who the driver was and hopefully we could make an arrest on that," said Major Brad Cowden, Del City Police Department. Kendrick is getting back into the swing of things after returning to Oklahoma and is now having to deal with this. "A headache. It's going to be a headache," said Kendrick.
