NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Dry conditions will stick around this week, keeping rain chances low and humidity comfortable across the area. Overnight lows will dip into the low to mid-50s for areas north of Lake Pontchartrain, while temperatures to the south will stay slightly warmer, in the mid-50s to lower 60s. During the day, highs will rise into the low to mid-80s. A gradual warming trend will continue, and by Wednesday, expect afternoon highs to climb into the mid to upper 80s, which is about 5 to 10 degrees above normal for this time of year. Looking ahead to the weekend, a weak front could move into the region, but it’s unlikely to bring much of a cool-down or any rain. Temperatures may drop slightly, but overall, expect dry and warm conditions to persist.
