GEORGETOWN, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Georgetown Police have arrested several individuals following a suspicious persons call at Southern Elementary School. During the incident, officers recovered multiple firearms and drugs on the school’s premises. The recovered firearms, which are shown in police-released images, were previously reported stolen. The individuals involved have been charged with unlawful possession of a weapon on school property, possession of a gun by a convicted felon, trafficking in marijuana, and other related offenses. Authorities have not yet released the names of those charged but expect to provide updates as more information becomes available.
