HAMILTON COUNTY, Ind. -- Election officials have collaborated with the Hamilton County GIS team to create a brand-new interactive map to make the early voting process easier for residents. According to a news release, the interactive map will make it easier for voters to find information about early voting locations and which ones are closest. Users can also access each location's operating hours and important dates in the buildup to the Nov. 5 General Election. “Working together across departments to create this tool has been incredibly rewarding,” said Chris Mertens, Hamilton County’s director of information technology. “Our goal is to make voting easier and more accessible for all residents. It’s exciting to see technology being used in a way that benefits our community.” The new interactive map can be accessed online here. Election officials added that voters can access seven more locations that will open in Carmel, Fishers and Westfield for early voting ahead of the general election. These voting centers will open on Wednesday and their exact locations can be found online here. Early voting is also available to Hamilton County residents in Noblesville at the Judicial Center, located at 1 N. 8th Street, and 4H Fairgrounds, which can be found at 2003 Pleasant Street. There will be a total of nine early voting locations throughout Hamilton County spread across Noblesville, Fishers, Westfield and Carmel.
