MANITOWOC, Wis. (WFRV) - The mother and boyfriend charged in connection with the death of Elijah Vue appeared in Manitowoc County Court on Monday for initial appearances on new charges. According to Wisconsin Circuit Court records, 31-year-old Katrina Baur appeared via video before a Manitowoc County judge, during which she waived her preliminary hearing. Death investigation underway in Wisconsin after overturned vehicle found in channel Baur is charged with chronic neglect of a child resulting in death, neglecting a child under 6 years old or with a disability, and two counts of resisting an officer. Her arraignment is scheduled for Oct. 30. Her boyfriend, 39-year-old Jesse Vang, is facing more serious charges.
