GoFundMe created after loss of Minot home and daycare

MINOT, ND (KXNET) — A GoFundMe has been set up for a Minot mother who lost her home and business to a fire earlier this month.
According to a GoFundMe established by Melissa Ignos, on October 17, her sister Michelle's trailer caught on fire, which resulted in a complete loss. Michelle is said to be a single mother with no state help or insurance. Michelle also ran a daycare out of the home, meaning that she lost both her home and career in the blaze.
GoFundMe established to aid Badlands Search & Rescue
While Michelle and her children were able to escape the fire, their dogs were inside the building, and one had to be administered oxygen upon removal from the house. She was taken to the veterinarian and given medication after the incident.
In addition to financial contributions, the family is also accepting donations of clothing or winter gear. To learn more about the situation or donate to the cause, visit the GoFundMe page here.
