BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- The Kern County coroner identified a man who was shot and killed in an early morning shooting Friday on Ogden Street in east Bakersfield. Armando Meza Jr., 34, was identified as the victim of the shooting on Oct. 18. Meza Jr. was pronounced dead at Kern Medical. RELATED: 1 dead after shooting on Ogden Street: KCSO Sheriff's office officials said deputies were called to the 1300 block of Ogden Street at around 1:20 a.m. where they found Meza Jr. suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. He was taken to Kern Medical where he was pronounced dead a short time later. An autopsy will be conducted to determine Meza's cause and manner of death.
