COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- Few people like people as much as Greg Waits likes people. For decades, he's served as a teacher and coach at his alma mater, Grove City High School. He's currently the head football coach after previously serving as the school's basketball coach. Ohio State-Penn State kickoff time announced "Our community is just second to none when it comes to high school sports," Waits said. His Greyhounds are 6-3 this season and on track for the school's winningest season in nearly 20 years.  "Our guys are just playing so hard. I'm so proud of them," he said. But Waits has yet another job that allows him another chance to give people guidance. After a stressful Friday night of coaching, he lives for his Saturday side hustle.  "I get up, I go to films, we go to workouts with our kids," he said. "When those are over, I come up here and I enjoy Saturdays. It's a great stress reliever." Buckeyes placed at No. 4 spot in new rankings, Oregon becomes new No. 1 "Here" is Ohio Stadium. Every home Buckeye game, Waits wakes up and heads to the Horseshoe, and then to B-Deck. He's served as an usher in the stadium for years, and now he supervises the staff in the entire B-Deck. "I'm up all week about high school football and trying to get our kids ready to play games and then so to get no sleep... coming up here, it's, like, it's no big deal," he said. Ohio State brings on nearly 1,100 ushers for gamedays, along with hundreds more concession workers, game operations staff, police and security personnel. Waits said he embraces the chance to see his favorite school and enjoy gamedays from a unique perspective.  "As soon as you sit down, you know what happens — bad things start to happen," he said. "You got to stay active and have a great time, and it doesn't get better than Ohio State football."
