(KRON) – Officers found a bag with a gun and ammunition that was hidden in a bush, according to the Richmond Police Department.  At 10:19 a.m. on Thursday, a ShotSpotter informed Richmond PD of a shooting near an encampment near Robert Miller Drive and San Pablo Avenue.  Responding officers noticed three men leaving a tent. Richmond PD said two of the men complied with officers. The other man was carrying a bag and walked into a thick bush. When he returned, police said he did not have the bag but then spoke to officers.  Image provided by the Richmond Police Department Man arrested for having child pornography: Petaluma police Officers searched the bush and found a bag with a loaded firearm, additional rounds of ammunition and narcotics. Police later learned the man was a convicted felon prohibited from possessing a firearm, which is illegal.
