PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WPRI) — With one match left in the regular season, Rhode Island FC will clinch a spot in the playoffs in its inaugural season. The team currently sits in fifth place after a 1-1 draw with the Charlestown Battery over the weekend. "We started off, you could kind of see the ups and downs but it's been fun it's been good and I think we are ready to go," Clay Holstad said. Only eight teams make the playoffs.
